2003/04/02　Skart アーティストトーク

この度、急遽来日することになったベオグラードのアーティスト、Skartの中心メンバーである二人によるプレゼンテーションを行います。
Skartは、10年にわたる戦争の間、それでもなおアートプロジェクトを展開させてきたグループです。ベオグラードを拠点として活動しているグラフィックデザイナーや建築家によるグループで、今回は中心メンバーの二人が来日します。ポストカードやクーポンなどを配布したり、本を出版するなど、様々なメディアをその都度使いわけながら、また他の団体と共同するなどして社会的な問題を顕在化させていくようなプロジェクトを実施しています。＜悲しみ＞についての個人的な感情を綴った本を出版したり、専門的な訓練を受けていない人たちのオーケストラを組織したり、シングルマザー協会や女性の難民たちが埋もれていく伝統的な刺繍の技術を持つ人々と一緒に働く機会をつくっていくなど、非常に多岐なプロジェクトを展開しています。また、戦争について考える機会が多い昨今、1990年代に悲惨な戦争の舞台となったベオグラードで彼らがこういった活動を継続させてきた話は実に興味深いものになるのではないでしょうか。
